Recovery Shots for Vets

Connecting Veterans Through Golf, Camaraderie, and Hope

Recovery Shots - Veterans

Recovery Shots for Vets is a free therapeutic golf program for Veterans recovering from PTSD or other service-related injuries. We invite you to join us and experience the camaraderie, fresh air, and light exercise that make golf such a powerful tool for healing.

Taught by PGA HOPE professionals and designed specifically for veterans in recovery, our two program formats offer flexibility and choice:

  • This program offers veterans in recovery something simple and meaningful: time on a beautiful course. Participating veterans receive 24 free rounds of golf with a buddy on the Spanish Hills course. Golf clinics are offered two to three times a year; attendance is not required to receive the rounds.
  • Seabee Course, Navy Base Port Hueneme – Our newest program offers four one-hour clinics, each immediately followed by nine holes of golf on the Seabee Course with the Pro. Veterans in this program also receive 24 rounds at Spanish Hills to play with a buddy at their own pace.
