Golf is Great Therapy For Our Vets

“Many don’t understand how such a complicated game as golf can change one’s life. Well, it changed mine immensely and for the better. I now crave it and all it has to offer, being around others, being able to let go of any issues, managing my PTSD and putting all my focus on that little white ball, hoping not to hit anyone’s house (smile). Golf allows me to share great laughs with others and has become an important part of my life and healing process.”
William Page

“Since beginning golf three years ago, I have seen a tremendous change to my mental and physical health. Having PTSD, it is often hard to be sociable. I have learned that playing golf allows me to be sociable without being overwhelmed. I have enjoyed playing many stress-free rounds with fellow Veterans as well as others that I have met over the years.”
