Mark Wilson

Mark Wilson comes to our Board from a varied background.  As a former Facilities Director, Paint Contractor, and Electrical Engineer, he transitioned to the golf business in 1996. He has been the Director of Golf at North Ranch Country Club (21 years), Oakmont Country Club (5 years) and now the Spanish Hills Club in Camarillo, CA.  During his 26 years in the Golf industry, Mark has been on the Board of Directors for the Southern California PGA, the Northern Chapter of the SCPGA, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Foundation, the First Tee of Greater Los Angeles, Friends of SCGA Youth on Course and now Recovery Shot.

Mark was awarded the Southern California PGA Section’s 2 highest honors, the 2011 Bill Strausbaugh Award for mentoring and the 2015 Golf Professional of the Year.  He served as the SCPGA Tournament Committee Chairman for 9 years, helped start the SCPGA Patriot Pro-Am, is an Ambassador for PGA Magazine and is on Master Staff with Callaway Golf.  Mark is also certified in PGA HOPE (Help Our Patriots Everywhere) as a golf instructor.  PGA HOPE introduces golf to Veterans and Active-Duty Military to enhance their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being.
